Cast iron sheave is the most common material for elevator sheave, which has good wear resistance and strength and can withstand large loads and friction, especially widely used in low and medium-speed elevators.
Cast steel sheave compared to cast iron sheave more strength and toughness, can withstand higher loads and impact, and is especially suitable for large loads and high-speed elevators. Commonly used in high-speed elevators and large load elevators.
