ARD, or Automatic Rescue Operation Device, is a critical component for elevators. It serves as a backup emergency power supply for the elevator frequency control system, and it has the significant advantages of easy installation, simple wiring, and high performance-price ratio. When the power supply system fails, ARD will operate automatically within a set time to run the elevator car slowly in the direction of light load to the nearest station to level the floor and open the door to protect the safety of passengers.
